SPRING 2015

Play in a Day

Year 4 were very fortunate to have have such a great experience this half term. We transformed the school hall into our rehearsal room where we became professional actors for the day. We built our confidence, improved our acting and speaking skills and learnt more about the Romans. We began rehearsing at 9.00am and by 2.30pm we had learnt our lines, sorted costumes and were ready to perform to the rest of the school. It was a fantastic day. Well done year 4 for an amazing performance!

World Book Day

On world book day we spent time reading books with year 3 and year 1. All children brought their favourite book into school. We looked at the titles and the authors. A lot of children had books written by the same author. They read with great expression and enthusiasm. Well done to Year 4 who were brilliant at reading to the younger children and asking lots of fun questions. Great day!
