DINOSAUR-CUBE CHALLENGE

Maths is great fun in Year 5! We loved tackling the Dinosaur-cube challenge. Each cube had its own decimal value. Our dinosaurs had to have an exact total value.

ROAD SAFETY WEEK

We enjoyed using iPads to create our own road safety mind maps. We then used our mind maps to deliver a presentation to the class. We came up with lots of great ideas for Road Safety Week!

Explore to learn: World War 2

Year 5 have been enjoying our Explore to learn topic 'World War 2.' We looked at a range of propaganda posters and designed our own using the message 'Your country...fight for it now.' We looked at landscape paintings and colour mixing techniques. We used a range of different mediums including paint on canvas, oil pastels and water colours. Don't they look fantastic?
