We loved sharing our writing with year 2. We were so impressed with their presentation and description.
In English, we have been learning about figurative language in poetry. We practised using personification in our writing to describe winter.
Year 5 had a great day exploring the Imperial War Museum. During our museum lead workshop, we had the task of being secret agents trying to solve a mission about memories and remembrance. We loved acting like spies and finding clues.
We were very lucky to have the famous poet, Levi Tafari come to our School and share some of his poems with us. Our class wrote poems about Barack Obama and we developed an understanding to why he is so significant.
Our play leaders did a fantastic job at their play leader training on Friday. They learnt how to initiate and make up a variety of new games.
Our history topic this term is World War II. We began our topic by looking at artefacts and asking historical questions.
We love singing with Mrs Hughes on a Friday afternoon.
We have been learning about the solar system. In particular, we have been looking at different properties of the planets.
