Between now and February 2018 we will be holding a number of events to promote real-life maths in school in addition to developing our children’s mathematical skills through our detailed mathematics curriculum.
Real-life maths challenge one:
Tweet a picture of mathematics being used in everyday life. It might be baking cakes, the weight of a new baby brother or sister, washing the car with buckets of water; it could be a number on a registration plate. Let’s see who can find the most creative use of mathematics in everyday life.
Look at our new tab in Key Information for further information.
