    Summer Fete

The Summer Fete is taking place on the school field on Saturday 27th June at 2pm.

We would very much appreciate help on Saturday morning from 8am to help set up the stalls, and at the end of the Fete from 4pm onwards.

We are looking for donations for the bottle tombola stall (this can be any type of bottle; drinks, sauce, shampoo etc) and any unwanted gifts for the general tombola stall, books and DVD’s.

Donations can be left at either the School, Church or St Nicholas' Centre.

Please look at the "Community" section of our website where you will see "Parish Notices"; these notices give you all the information you need and are an excellent way of keeping up to date with all up and coming events.

    Many thanks.

  • Fathers' Story Week

    Fri 12 Jun 2015 Administrator

Have you heard about FRED and ERIC???!!!

To celebrate Fathers' Story Week (June 15th to 19th) we would like to invite dads, granddads, uncles or big brothers to come in to school and read with your child.  FRED (Fathers Reading Every Day) is a super way to encourage children to read for pleasure.

We have two slots available each day: 9.00-9.20am and 2.40-3.00pm (a note with reply splip has been sent home).

Should you be unable to join us your child will still enjoy a book as Everyone (will be) Reading In Class = ERIC.  However, if you can "FRED" at home then send us a snap of you reading with your child via Twitter for our website! #getcaughtreading @halewoodcofe

Congratulations to Year 3 who have achieved the most activity points this term.  FANTASTIC!

Well done also to our 45 bronze, 7 silver and  1 gold certificate holders this term.  You have been working exceptionally hard.  Let’s see if we can beat our totals for the number of Silver and Gold certificates next term?

Remember just 10 minutes each night will help to build up both your own and your class points.  You could be a winner next time!

Thank you once again for being enthusiastic mathematicians and keep up the hard work!
