• Science Week

  What a wonderful time the children had during science week. We had scientific experiments taking place throughout school and every year group was involved.  

   

  Reception had a great time with Mr Coleman learning about Newton's third Law of motion: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. 

   

  Our thanks must go to the Education Group for our Forensics day - the children attended a crime scene and searched for evidence. 

  

• World Book Day

  What a fantastic day we had on World Book Day.  The children (and staff) looked wonderful dressed up as their favourite character from a book.  We "tweeted" around 30 images on the day.  We do our best to tweet pictures and information about what's happening in school on the day - sometimes to the hour.   On Thursday 3rd March the school dinner menu will be:

   

  Meatballs with tomato sauce, criss-cut potatoes and peas followed by mousse for pudding.  There will also be jacket potato or sandwich as an alternative.
