Following a child’s absence, the following procedures have been put in place to ensure that the safeguarding of all children remains a high priority at Halewood CofE School, in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’.  In accordance with our attendance policy, please complete the attached document and return it to school, or email as an attachment, within 5 days.  Failure to do so will result in the absence being recorded as unauthorised.

If your child is absent you must:

• Contact the school office by 9.00am on the first day of absence
• Contact the school office each day by 9.00am to inform how your child is
• Complete ‘Absence Note’ on the first day your child returns to school.
