We will be having a Healthy Lunch Week during the week of Monday 6th March to Friday 10th March. During this week children will be rewarded for having a lunch box full of healthy items. We will also be talking about healthy eating in our classes.

World Book Day - £1 School Dinners
Sun 26 Feb 2017On Thursday 2nd March it is World Book Day and school dinners will be £1. The menu is:
Sausage Casserole or a sandwich
Waffles and Ice Cream.
Children are also invited to dress up as their favourite character from a book. For inspiration. please look at our March 2016 "Latest News" where there are lots of pictures of the children and staff from last year's World Book Day.

Safer Internet Day

Our digital leaders led our Safer Internet Assembly and throughout the school the children discussed how to be SMART on the internet.

Film Night - Thursday 22nd December
Wed 30 Nov 2016Tickets are now available for Film Night at St. Nicholas' Centre on 22nd December. Tickets are £4 and the film showing is 'The Santa Clause' with mulled wine and mince pies. -
School Dinners - £1 Party Box Thursday 6th October
Mon 03 Oct 2016On Thursday 6th October the normal school dinner will be replaced with a party box at a special cost of £1.
If you would like your child/children to have a party box, the £1 payment will need to be made via parent pay. Log in details have been supplied but can be given again if they have been misplaced.
Please note that children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 do not pay for school dinners and therefore will not be required to pay for the £1.00 party box.

Flu Vaccine Form: Years 1-3
Thu 15 Sep 2016There is a special flu vaccine which works really well in children. It is given by a painless nasal spray and offered in school for all year 1, 2 & 3 children. Prior to our return to school, Knowsley Community Nursing Services sent out an information pack and consent form. This is for you to complete and return to school by 23rd of September whether you want or don’t want your child to receive it.
